The staff were mind-blowingly friendly and super helpful. Check in and check out process was a breeze. Paid with cash on check out. The location was jaw-droppingly lovely, just a short walk to the seafront. The communal area with hammocks was a great place to relax. The wi-fi was top-notch. The breakfast, though basic, was nice. Eduardo at the front desk was fantastic with helping us book tours and had great local knowledge.

pros We had an amazing stay at a hostel in Puerto Madryn. the location was perfect, close to a grocery store and laundry facility. the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere of the hostel was warm and inviting. We also loved the nice hangout area with a beautiful green grass yard. Thank you, Eduardo, Debora, and Rodrigo, for making our stay unforgettable. And a special mention to the delicious cakes at breakfast, especially the Batata ones!
Cons Not one thing! 😊.

For the money we paid, La Tosca was an absolute steal! The room was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The location was perfect, making it easy to explore the town and catch buses. The staff treated us like family, always friendly and helpful.
The breakfast option could have been improved by offering some healthier choices alongside the delicious homemade cakes.

The shared kitchen space was the best I've seen in my 2 months of travelling in Argentina & Brazil. the staff was really knowledgeable about the area and excursions. the beds were really comfy & cosy. the location was great, just a few blocks away from the bus station, which made it easy to get to different places.
The breakfast options were limited and mostly sweet. the top bunk bed was a bit high and tricky to get up to.

The location of this hostel was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and close to several attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful, giving great tips on what to see and do in the city. The common areas were spacious and inviting, with a well-equipped kitchen and a lovely outdoor area.
The room I stayed in was not the best. It was quite small and had old bedding.

I recently stayed at La Tosca in Puerto Madryn for 2 months while travelling in Argentina & Brazil. The shared kitchen space was the best I've seen in hostels. Eduardo, the staff member, was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and helped me retrieve my lost phone. The beds were comfy and the location was great for getting to places like Puerto Pirámides and Trelew. The beautiful garden was perfect for relaxing and meeting new people. This hostel was the best choice for my stay.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

We got great value for our money at La Tosca Hostel. The room was spacious enough for a couple with luggage and had a convenient shelf for using our computer. The staff treated us so well, answering all our questions and even changing our reservation to a single room upon request. The location was perfect, with easy access to the car park and just a short walk to the beach.
Breakfast offerings could be improved with some less sugary options.

The breakfast was fantastic! They had delicious homemade cakes and fresh products. the little garden was a great place to relax and enjoy the nice weather. the location was perfect, close to everything we wanted to explore.
The rooms were a bit darker than what we saw in the pictures. It would have been better if they had more light.
